Musical Game of Life

Chord 1 sets the key. Add chords using the roman numeral system — each one gets a diatonic quality (e.g. ii → minor 7th, V → dominant 7th) that you can override. As the game evolves it cycles through the progression, staying on each chord for the chosen number of steps. The crossfade blends in the next chord on an exponential curve as the steps on the current chord run out. Voicings are colored with 9ths, 11ths and 13ths in the style of Bill Evans.
